CUHK Researcher Win Young Investigator Awards in 2018 APSN
A scientific presentation developed by Dr. LU Hanna win Young Investigator Awards on the 15th Meeting of the Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN).
Hanna’s presentation, The Complexity of Attention Network: Neuropsychology, Neurochemistry and Neuroanatomy, summarized the neuroscientifically informed organization of attention network and its differential utility in individuals with DSM-5 neurocognitive disorders due to Alzheimer’s disease (NCD-AD) and neurocognitive disorders due to vascular disease (NCD-vascular). Meanwhile, the presentation also reflects the main work of her PhD study in CUHK. Hanna said: “To explore the brain with multidimensional perspectives is an amazing journey for me. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my PhD supervisors: Prof. Linda Lam and Prof. Sandra Chan for their great support and encouragement.”
