BIOGRAPHY
  • Dr. Liu received his clinical education at Southern Medical University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in clinical medicine. After receiving his master’s degree in clinical medicine from Jinan University, he became a psychiatrist at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University. He then pursued his PhD at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also did a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and another two-year visiting postdoctoral fellowship in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. He is currently an Assistant Professor in our department. His research interests focus on identifying neurodegenerative biomarkers in REM sleep behavior disorders and developing potential neuroprotective interventions in REM sleep behavior disorders.
