Chairwoman Barbara Wang’s Visit to CUHK Psychiatry. We were delighted to welcome Barbara, Founder & Chairwoman of the WANG FOUNDATION and Honorary Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUHK ENT, to the Department of Psychiatry. With her infectious enthusiasm, Barbara inspired our community by highlighting how our cutting-edge research can spark entrepreneurial ventures. She led some engaging coaching and pitch sessions, empowering our faculty and students with the mindsets and skills to transform scientific discoveries into real-world impact. During an informal mentoring lunch, Barbara shared invaluable insights on navigating the opportunities and challenges of the generative AI era, with a special emphasis on encouraging and empowering young researchers—especially women—in science.
