CUHK Sleep Assessment Unit Achieves Global Recognition at WorldSleep2025 & ASSM Conference
The Li Chiu Kong Family Sleep Assessment Unit, Department of Psychiatry, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, proudly represented Hong Kong on the global stage at the WorldSleep2025 and Asian Society of Sleep Medicine (ASSM) 2025 Conference, held from 5–10 September 2025 in Singapore.
The team delivered an exceptional 64 presentations, including:
- 13 symposia presentations
- 13 oral presentations
- 38 poster presentations
Their impactful research and dedication to sleep science were recognized with an impressive 19 awards, including:
- 12 Young Investigator Awards from ASSM
- 7 Young Investigator Awards from World Sleep (with 5 out of 18 awarded for oral abstracts)
The prestigious World Sleep Day Distinguished Activity Award 2025, honoring their commitment to promoting sleep health in the community.
